Ruth deals with all Santana enquiries and tandem custom build ups. Ruth‘s knowledge of tandems is considerable and she is very passionate about promoting tandeming in the UK.
John and Ruth have the option to ride any of the JD’s fleet of Santana tandems, and their current choice is the Carbon Beyond.
Ruth has taken part in many different rides and events on the tandem with John - The Fred Whitton Challenge - 2005 Spring Polaris - The 100 mile Marie Curie Tandem Challenge - 2005 Classic Cols of the Pyranees.
Ruth and John spend their holidays tandem touring and have visited many different countries including Mallorca, Ireland, France, Switzerland, mainland Spain and last summer they took their Carbon Beyond to the US which included a trip to the home of Santana Tandems in California.
