We’re currently experimenting with brake pads.  All I know about them is they’re the M515 ‘type’.
Tried Shimano (hmmmm - won’t use them again - didn’t last at all).
Tried Aztec (Gold-sintered?) (seemed OK but wasn’t all that impressed with the stopping power to be honest.  They do seem to last a fair while though).
We’ve just popped a pair of Goodridge Sintered Pads in today and went for a spin in the Lakes.  For braking performance these are the dogs danglies (and the pad looks quite chunky too so ‘hopefully’ they’ll last more than 5 minutes).  We went down Red Bank (25%) and thats the first time we’ve had it under control using just that rear disc brake - normally have to add a fair bit of front brake too.  In fact, if I really tried, with both of us on I could just about begin to lock up the back wheel.  Not something you want to do of course, but it shows these are certainly giving us more powerful braking.
Anyone any experience of these Goodridge pads?  Any others folk would recommend? I’m just hoping they’ll last a reasonable length of time.  The Lakes is punishing for tandem parts.
Cheers… Allan.

I can reccomend Swisstop pads. They have excellent stopping power, don’t squeal and seem to last quite well.
