Has anyone had any luck transporting a tandem on an ‘East-West’ train route. Seems that going North-South (eg. National Express East Coast, London to Edinburgh route) will be okay, although time will tell on this one, their website says ‘yes’, but on the day will the ‘computer say no’?), but any other direction seems to be fraught with frustration. The Government keep telling us to get away from our cars, let the ‘train take the strain’, but then we can’t take our bike!! ....rude words!!! Help. Christine & Nick.

Hi,
Have you tried the Tandem Club discussion boards, there’s lot of discussion on there about trains and they have a contact who’s specialises in trying to understand the tandems / trains relationship.
