We have had a tandem for a number of years and are considering a new one now we are both retired and have more time and want to do longer trips.
We have considered getting a tandem with S&S couplings. We have neither seen these in use or know anyone who has a tandem with them. Any comments from anyone who has these would be appreciated. Any problems, advantages, anything that might help us decide.

I think Ruth and John the proprietors of JD’s have a Santana Beyond (??) that has S&S couplings.

JD Cycles actually have a demonstration coupling so you can get have a really good look at the system as well as a number of tandems with the couplings fitted.
