Hi

can anyone recommend an electronic intercom system (digital or analogue) that would be useful on a tandem.

Cycled from roscoff to porto last summer on a modified thorn. the biggest problem was communication with the stoker, especially in n spain. It was the only thing we felt would’ve made the trip better. Apart from a tom tom. Does anyone know of a guidance system that is light enough for cycling.

It took 4 hours to get out of pontevedre into Portugal. As i’m sure you are all aware, going 20k the wrong way in mountainous terrain on a tandem with a trailer is no laughing matter!!!!

Any thoughts would be appreciated

All we do is Stokes pokes me in the back, I turn my head so I can hear what Stokes has to say, and BINGO
mission accomplished without the need to spend any money on useless heavy crap. smirk

Googling “Tandem Intercom” came up with these two, from the States and not cheap.

A lot of them are meant for motorbikes and are conseqently heavier

Sorry forgot to mention this one but it hasn’t been manufactured for a bit for some reason.

Might be able to find a second hand one.
