Whilst not being at all against the TPT ,if the standard of the Trail as a whole is up ( down ) to the standard that is tolerated in the Wakefield area then a few heads need to be knocked together. The surface in many areas is appalling to say the least.I am told that the Wakefield spur is a recognised joke amongst those that use it.

I live close to a section of it which started life as a wide path on which you could ride two abreast and is now no more than a muddy rut about 18 inches wide.I have asked Wakefield MDC to rectify it but I may have well been talking to myself.

Comes with delegating the work to local authorities I suppose.

Hi Ian

I have ridden quite a bit of the TPT, when we have been Trailquesting down in the Sheffield area, and it is in lots of parts almost a mountain bike trail, especially through the woodlands, but I voted for them anyway.
