Hi There,

I now feel that I can post a message to say that we are now proud owners of a lovely new tandem. The frame was made by Locks of Sandwich, but the wheels and the disc brakes came from JD Cycles.  We treated ourselves to the Sweet 16 Shimano wheels and the incredible Winzip disc brake.

Great ride! The wheels are fantastic! They have a lovely springy feel (not flex) and absorb all the bumps and lumps in the roads. We will be off to ride the Cape Argos in South Africa next month and will let you know how we get on. So a big thanks to Ruth and Johnny when we test rode a Santana and a Landescape and fell in love with the kit. Although we didn’t buy a whole tandem from you we feel part of the family as we have cherry picked the best bits!

As soon as the weather stops being horrible, we’ll be out with the tandem and camera!  Will also send a report on the Cape Argus which are going to do on the tandem.
