Rides and Places of Interest around Gargrave

Gargrave is situated just 4 miles from Skipton on the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Providing access to some of the best cycling Yorkshire has to offer. To the west is The Trough of Bowland and to the east The Dales. From the JD Tandems store Malham Cove is an easy 7 miles away, with a whole host of tea shops, there is even a superb farm shop and café part way in the pretty village of Airton.

For those looking for a tougher ride, heading up the side of Malham Cove over to Arncliffe and back through Hetton is 30 miles, with stacks of climbing, and a circular route up the notorious Fleet Moss climb to Hawes is a very hilly 70 miles. Heading west will lead you to some gently rolling, very quiet pretty lanes.

Whatever you fancy long or short, flat or hilly, Gargrave has a great range of cycle rides. Just ask us, you get a map with your tandem so we can show you some superb riding!
