Can you ride a tandem off-road?

The strong forks, stable frames and overbuilt wheels of a Santana really shine when you take one off-road.

A tandem´s wheelbase and weight alone will enable you to traverse looser surfaces, rougher terrain and steeper grades without bouncing, skidding or loosing traction.

About the only things you can´t do on your Santana are trial tricks like hopping logs. No matter which model you choose, you can take your tandems far of the beaten path.
Even 700c Santanas accept tires and are capable of going off-road. However, if rocky trails are your cup-of-tea, we recommend a ATB 26” tandem.
