1200 km on a tandem!

2 of our customers, Katherine & Peter Southby have just complete the Paris-Brest-Paris 1200km Audax ride, on their tandem.
The non-stop ride has to be completed in under 90 hours, which to us Brits means averaging more than 8 miles per hour without stopping.
They finished with just an hour to spare, Katherine & Peter had to ride several qualifying events, 2 of which were over 600km in length. They were fundraising for the NSPCC and have raised over £2,000.
Well done to both of them, from all the staff at JDs.
